Lilies and Kindergarteners
As posted on my Facebook, yesterday was my first day back in the classroom, I substitute taught in Kindergarten at an Elementary School a few blocks away from our house. It was such a great day. I forgot how much I loved it all. My day got even better when I came home to a beautiful bouquet of lilies from my dear. They were in honor of my "first day of work", haha, how cute is he?
Many of you know from the "Love" tab above the blog that Jesse and I use the chalk board in our hall to relay messages to each other. I used it for just that...
The Doodle of Thanks.
. . . . . . . . . . .
And of course I couldn't not creep in on the classroom that I was so overjoyed to be in.
It was really a funny day because it was only the 3rd day of school. So for Kindergarten, they still have no routine down whatsoever... it took us about 10 min to make lines to go anywhere. Tuesday was Library day, and they had no idea that there was even a library in the school. One kid asked me if we had to go and get on the bus to ride into the city. I was also told, "You are my favorite teacher ever, I love you so much" (after being there for only 15 min) Haha, and at the end of the day I got several sweet hugs. I know its not in God's plan for me right now to have my own classroom and Connecticut with my husband is where I need to be, but goodness I think I will ready when that time comes.

Have a happy day.
Love,
Mrs. Ramsey
(It was also my first day as Mrs.Ramsey in the classroom!!! How weird is that?!)
