God's Coloring Book
When we shared with our friends and family that we were moving to Connecticut, most everyone said something about how beautiful it is in the fall. Looking forward to the changing colors, I have not been let down. This picture below was taken 2 weeks ago, near Norwich where we live. As you can see the colors are on their way.
"There will be peace in the valley for me, some day..."
These next picture were taken last week in Wilimantic, CT, the browns and oranges are peeping through more and more.
"Each step I take, I know that He will guide me..."
I love the yellowing trees the most. The reds and the oranges are pretty, but I love yellow and the happiness that it exudes.
"When you left your room this morning, did you think to pray?"
This tree (although) a little sprigy has all the colors, green, red, orange, yellow and brown.
"I don't know who holds tomorrow, but I know who holds my hand..."
When I saw this tree I was literally like "Whoa" I pulled my car over and stuck my camera out the window of my car. The oranges against the bright blue sky are screaming beauty.
"It is well, it is well with my soul."
This morning I went on a bike ride. I had my iPod in my ears and my church jams a going. Something about singing has always made me feel closer to God, so on my bike ride, I sang (loudly), I admired his colors, and thanked Him for all His goodness.
These pictures are from this morning.
"Go rest high on that mountain, son your work on earth is done,
go to heaven a shoutin', love for the Father and the Son..."
"Beaulah Land, I'm longing for you, and someday on thee I'll stand."
"Just over in the glory land..."
I picked up a few leaves on my ride back, I'm going to mail them to a few of my loves in MO to share the CT beauty. God is everywhere, MO and CT both.
I want to give a shout out of thanks to Calvary Missionary Baptist church for posting your sermons online. Some Sunday's I am able to Skype with my home church, and some Sunday's I go out into town and try to find a church that fits, but today I listened to an online sermon and it was exactly what I needed to hear. I am thankful for church families like you all who are there for me even when you don't know it. Love. Calvary's link is right here ---> http://calvarymissionarybaptistchurch.org/wp/
