Muffin Pan - Use #5
Hard Boiled Eggs have always been a favorite quick snack of mine, but to be honest I never made them because, I hate standing at the oven while they boil. So when I came across this idea I was aw-struck! I ask myself, why didn't I think of this on my own!?
Place eggs in muffin pan so they dont knock against each other or roll around.
Bake in oven for 30 min on 350 degrees.
When you take them out use tongs, do this as soon as they are out of the oven.
Place them in a bowl of cold water, I added ice to my bowl.
Let them sit and cool for about 15 min.
Next is the begrudged peeling. However, my helpful handy husband taught me the easiest way to peel eggs. He was once a cook at a restaurant and had to peel many eggs for customers. So here is low down..
Crack the ends, like so...
Then place under your palm and roll on counter, or hard surface..
Now the trick is to use your thumb to get underneath the shell.
With a little push and peel, it will come right off! And viola, a beautiful bowl of eggs!
Perfect for slicing, for salads, or deviled eggs, or a snack!
