Providence, Rhode Island

Hello friends! Happy Columbus day! "In fourteen-hundred-and-ninty two, Columbus sailed the ocean blue." As part of discovering New England, I am posting some of the pictures that Jesse and I took in Providence. I know, I know, Columbus did not discover Providences per-say but the area near it. Our nation is such a beautiful place, with for the most part beautiful caring people, and a not so beautiful economy...anyway (Vote November 6th! Vote Romney/Ryan) have a wonderful day.

Before taking me to the airport to catch my flight, Jesse and I spent the morning in Providence, Rhode Island. We spent a lot of time driving around the city, making turns that made no sense and nearly driving up a one way street going the WRONG way!

Here is a picture of the Beautiful Capital Building. I love that so many of the capital buildings look similar. The white stone and the top domes always look so prestigious to me.

A view of the city. The houses in the area were very old, but in good shape. You can see a blue one at the bottom of this photo. They shutters and different colors made them a sight to see.

 Over looking the city scape.

 My love and I.

The park that these photos were taken from was called Roger Williams park.
Below is the monument to him.

The grass was soon green and soft, I couldnt help but lay in it!

The strong masculine husband towering over me!

Lucky I'm in love with my best friend.

 Beauticul clouds. Perfect morning.

God Bless America. Be thankful to have the home that you do and the rights that are yours. There could come a time when not everything comes so easily.
