Sweet Treats
This past week I visited my family in Missouri. I was gone for a little over a week and couldnt leave my Jesse Bear behind without leaving little reminders of my love for him. Each day he was gifted some form of candy and note.
The notes were made from scrapbooking paper and ribbon.
I wrote the notes in black sharpie with emphasis on the quip that correlated with the candy.
Here was the process.
Here were the finished treats....
Double Mint Gum: You have always "mint" the world to me.
Snickers: You always make me laugh, smile and "snicker".
Pop Rocks: You "rock" my world.
Raisenets: No funny quip here, Jesse just likes them a lot.
Nerds: Your "nerd" comes home to you today!
Payday: Horay! Even thought I'm gone today is "PayDay"
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups: There are so many "reeses" why I love you.
Twix: You have be"twix"ed me body and soul.
Mounds: You will be missed mounds and mounds.
I used a hole punch and ribbon. Simple dimple.
Little notes and treats are so inexpensive, but the thought goes a long way. Never think that you can tell someone how much they mean to you too many times. Cherish every moment with the ones you love.
