Spare Storage Space
After moving into our place, I immediately realized two things. 1. We kinda moved to the ghetto side of Norwich, CT. (Haha, thats what you get for finding a place online and not visiting before you moved), and... 2. We have hardly any storage, and the closets that we do have a tiny.
So... in need of some space to place my large amounts of Christmas Decor as well as my little trinkets for other holidays, I got creative. The upstairs has slanted ceilings. There for the space in the upstairs 1/2 bath where a bath-tub would be is empty floor space with a strange ceiling...
Shower rod and Curtain...? Problem solved.
I bought a rod that would be long enough to reach from wall to wall. Then placed a shower curtain over it, as if there were an actual bath-tub behind it. I'll admit when you look closely it looks silly, but it is space I needed and it works perfectly.
Here is what it looks like when the curtain is closed. Minus the little buldge of wrapping paper near the toilet, I dont think you'd really know until you looked closely...or went to shower and there wasnt one there. (Like our friend Travis who carried a towel upstairs to shower, even after I told him there was no shower up there..haha)
But what makes it even dang diddly better is all this stuff that is hidden away!
You're welcome. I know...seriously..it's brilliant.. Okay okay.. you're right. My college education has officially paid itself off.
