Paint Chip Art
Paint Chip Art! For Free-Ninty-Nine... :) Pick up a variety of paint chips from your Lowes, Home-Depot, Wal-Mart, etc... whatever colors or color scheme you need to fill some space.. I chose purple becuase purple is my favorite color. (Also when we started planning our bedroom redo I was planning on purple, but then we switched to Navy, so as of now this project is done, but has no home...:( )
Cut out circles, I used a 1.5 inch punch from Hobby Lobby
Regular Elmers Stick Glue will do!
This style below is called "fish scaling"
Glue them down one layer at a time, only a bit so you can still see the fishy texture..
After they're all on there trim the edges...
I also covered a small matt to put a picture in the center of. I was thinking a black and white would be nice... :)
Last step, place them in a frame if you so like.
I originally had them in brown frames , but I am also fond of the silver... Opinion's please?
I apologize for how long it's been since I have posted but I thought it would be best not to post just for the sake of posting, other wise the blog is likely to get cluttered and boring, two things I am not fond of.. Hope you enjoyed this little DIY.
XO
